Construction Design and Build Manager. West Midlands.
£50,000 - £55,0000 + £5000 car + benefits + Bonus

My client is a leading National contractor specializing in Design and Build Contracts ranging from £10 - £30 million nationwide. As part of their developing Construct Division, the senior management team is seeking an experienced Senior Design and Build Manager. Their customer focused teams work throughout the UK, supporting their list of blue chip customers and contributing to the delivery of their business aspirations. They are looking for skilled and committed individuals to join these teams.

They have live projects and a pipeline of work from our customers across the UK and are looking for a Senior Design Manager to contribute to the delivery of this workload. This post offers the successful candidate the opportunity to progress and develop within a team that takes delivery to commitments seriously. Total customer satisfaction is one of my clients core values and must be achieved by building safely whilst taking due account of programme, cost and quality.

The individual will be responsible for the development of design management within the team and have functional responsibility for the Design managers within Simons Construct. They will work closely with Project Managers and Surveyors to ensure the efficient delivery of projects. The successful individual will be commercially aware and have a personality that generates a team atmosphere between all project participants.

Key requirements are:
Excellent customer relationship management skills
Experience of new build, extensions or large refurbishment projects of value between £10-30m
Commercial Awareness
Health and Safety issues are high priority.
Able to identify and resolve problems.
Self-motivated individual who is capable of being flexible.
Proven leadership skills and proven experience of taking responsibility for the Design management of projects.
A dynamic and energetic leader
A hunger and passion to succeed.
