We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a forward-thinking Primary Care Trust in the South West, who are looking for an Interim Head of Patient Safety. This role is initially for a period of 12 months, with a possibility for extension.
Responsibilities will include:
⢠Assisting with the development of the risk management infrastructure
⢠Preparing and producing evidence for NHSLA assessment
⢠Recommending and implementing improvements to achieve safe, quality care delivery
⢠Assisting with the implementation of a new IT package for the risk register
⢠Liaising closely with senior colleagues and Board members within the Trust
Successful candidates should have previous risk management experience within an NHS organisation, and ideally have a risk management qualification. You should also have a strong clinical background and enthusiasm for a new challenge. Excellent communication and management skills are also essential for this position.
