| We are currently searching for a Junior .net developer to join our client based on the outskirts of Bath. The person we are looking for must have experience of web application development, web services and general support in such areas. The candidate must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of ASP.net, SOAP, and VB.net. Understanding of the MSSQL platform, and the ability to code confidently in TSQL/SQL with emphasis on the use of Stored Procedures. Experience in dealing with XML, integrating 3rd party tools and support of legacy code (ASP Classic) would be preferable. Experience in Retail eCommerce development and to a lesser extent the finance industry would be beneficial. Graduates are encouraged to apply if they have gained relevant experience during placements and/or previous commercial based work and feel they have the correct skill set. Key Responsibilities: Deliver graphically rich highly interactive web solutions Support solutions in-line with client requests, support issues and technology changes Code independently in vb.net Develop in-house tools to aid the development process Report progress and issues with development team and senior management Contribute to Concrete Studios' technical position Requirements: Must demonstrate a working knowledge of ASP.net, SOAP, and VB.net. Good experience of the MSSQL platform Experience in using XML and integration of 3rd party tools To be able to communicate effectively with the development team Own transport and a valid UK driving license is a must, due to office location.
