Job Description

An Accounts Assistant is sought to join this company in Warminster, Wiltshire on a Fixed Term Contract basis.

Our client is a children’s furniture retailer, with stores across the UK. They have been established since 2002 and turned over £13.9m in 2009. This great opportunity for an Accounts Assistant will be based in their Head Office in Warminster.

LOCATION: Warminster, Wiltshire
SALARY: £15,000 - £18,000 per annum TERMS: Fixed-term contract; maternity cover – length TBC START DATE: August 2010; 40 hours over 5 days Monday - Friday (possibly 30 hours for right candidate)

The ideal Accounts Assistant will possess:

• €¢ Proven QBE (Qualified By Experience) status ideally, however an excellent part-qualified candidate would also be considered

• €¢ Good working experience of Sage, Excel, Word, Outlook

• €¢ Experience in a similar role, working as an Accounts Assistant / Book Keeper / Finance Assistant / Assistant Accountant / Part Qualified Accountant / Accountant

• €¢ The ability to pick up tasks quickly, work in a busy office environment and are eager to take on a variety of tasks

To succeed in this role as an Accounts Assistant you will be expected to:

• €¢ Complete all aspects of Purchase & Sales Ledger, Bank Reconciliations, Financial Reporting
