Job Description
This vacancy provides a great opportunity for an experienced chef de partie who is looking to take the next step. Our clients are currently seeking a Senior Chef de Partie to assist in leading and motivating a brigade within their highly accredited property in Somerset. This stunning 5 star Hotel are looking for a passionate chef to work with a combination of fine dining and high quality banqueting. The restaurant is currently actively working towards gaining its 3rd rosette, the right candidate should have the passion and skills to assist in achieving this.
The Role:
This exceptional property prides itself on its faultless reputation and incredibly high standards. As Senior Chef de Partie you will be required to support the Head Chef in ensuring the efficient, and effective running of the kitchen brigade, in particular the larder section. You will also be required to ensure that the preparation and presentation of the food is of a very high standard. You will be responsible for training and motivating the team to achieve company standards, and also to comply with Food and Health & Safety regulations. You will be standards driven with an emphasis on producing cuisine of a high standard. All candidates should have communication skills and have the ability to motivate and develop your team.

Qualification/Experience:
Applicants should have previous experience of working in a quality, 2 rosette accredited establishment. A motivated individual with a stable background within quality establishments is required who possesses the ability to train and develop a kitchen team. Formal qualifications to NVQ 2 standards are desirable, however a proven ability and broad experience are more important.
