This global leading blue chip is currently looking for an experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Developer.
Job Purpose:
An experienced BI Developer is required to join the Strategic MI team to develop Management Information and Business Intelligence solutions.
The Strategic MI team is responsible for developing and supporting management information solutions using a defined
strategic toolset that currently consists of Kalido (data warehouse tool), Informatica (ETL tool), Business Objects, QlikView (BI tools) and Essbase (an analysis tool) to meet the requirements. Thereby improving the quality of reporting financial information both externally and internally.Key Skills:
Proven experience in the provision of BI Development for IT projects using one or more of the following tools:
o Business Objects Designer
o QlikView
o Essbase
Develop BI Solutions that meet Business requirements.
- Have excellent communication skills and be capable of producing high quality written documents in support of the BI solutions.
- Exhibit excellent behaviours to enable good working relationships with Business Users/Customers.
- Knowledgeable of the project delivery life cycle
Able to work with minimal supervision a self starter.
- develop BI solutions that fit business requirements whilst providing the best fit with system(s) functionality
