Hardware/Software Engineer with Linux experience - US Bid
My client based in the South West is looking with immediate effect for an experienced Electronics Engineer with strong Embedded software development skills on an initial 6 month contract basis. Knowledge of RF/hardware/software integration is essential, as is experience with Linux drivers and low level Linux application coding.
In depth experience of RF/hardware/software integration.
Strong C Embedded software programming experience.
Embedded Linux driver and application coding experience.
Familiarity with electronic circuits/schematics, and developing drivers with reference to component datasheets.
Hands-on experience using electronic test equipment to verify driver functionality and debug issues.
Experience writing and verifying drivers for GSM/WCDMA radio chipsets would be beneficial.
Experience with GPS hardware/software integration would be beneficial.
