Job Description for the role of Breakdown & Repair Engineer
Salary – up to £24,333 + Bonus arrangement

Details of the Post

To undertake general Gas service and maintenance work and reactive duties as and when necessary.

This is a field based role and will involve travelling around a specified area.


Duties and Responsibilities:
Completion of all service work associated with the maintenance of gas heating appliances, complying with all health and safety requirements specified by both group policies and procedures and those listed in the gas safety regulations.
To attend to breakdown work in the allocated time period, ensure first time fixes where possible.
Ordering of relevant parts and van stock items.
Delivery of daily productivity target
Completion of all associated paperwork as required by both Group procedures and the gas safety regulations including PDA work.
Available for all work for a set period of 40 hours per week
Any other work deemed necessary by the company as directed through the Contract Manager
Undertake all training as required by the organisation and assist in training of other staff as required
Dealing with the general public in a professional manner and maintaining the corporate image (wearing uniform provided)
To participate in the Out of Hours Call out Rota.
Any other duties as required
